The law is a powerful tool for helping you to have your concerns heard. You have the right to be heard.
Environmental Defenders Office Qld (EDO Qld) lawyers are experts in helping you use your legal powers to protect the environment and your community’s health.
EDO Qld will also be launching an update to the EDO Qld Handbook: Mining and Coal Seam Gas Law in Queensland: A Guide for the Community, which provides a helpful overview of the laws around resource projects and your legal rights to be involved. Copies will be for sale at the event along with EDO Qld’s free Factsheets.
This event and the update of the Mining and CSG Law in Queensland Handbook have been supported by the Department of Environment and Science.
