Experts discuss key environmental priorities

05 March, 2015

This morning EDO Qld joined other Queensland environment experts in a panel discussion to discuss key environmental priorities for our new state government.

The environment was a key election issue for many voters. The impact of coal mining and the dumping of dredge spoil in Great Barrier Reef waters were two of the big ticket items on the environmental agenda.

This morning EDO Qld CEO Jo-Anne Bragg joined other Queensland environment experts in a panel discussion with Steve Austin on 612 ABC Mornings.

Jo joined Drew Hutton, President of Lock the Gate Alliance, and Louise Matthiesson, WWF Campaign Manager of the Great Barrier Reef, to discuss key environmental priorities for our new state government.

Environmental Defenders Office Queensland (EDO Qld) gives a strong legal voice to the environment when needed most.
