Mt Coot-tha Zipline

Have your say on Brisbane City Council’s application for a commercial zipline on Mount Coot-tha

On 31 August 2018, development application A005011420 was submitted by the Brisbane City Council to develop a commercial zipline on Mount Coot-tha trust land. You can view the application here.

The Brisbane City Council is also required to release a Land Management Plan to change the use of the land, which is currently held as a site for a public park and for no other purpose whatsoever.

The Council will need to consult with the community on both the development application and the draft Land Management Plan, and has indicated that this will be done concurrently in late 2018 to early 2019. During this period you can make a submission on the development application. EDO Qld has published general information on the application processes and making a submission here.
